Description
A wool felt Cub Scout patch from the 1955 "Cub-O-Ree, Westward Ho" event, Donner District, likely named for the Donner Party's Sierra Nevada history, given the region. Embroidered in green thread with a crossed rifle and tomahawk design at center, finished with a red merrowed edge. Soft, well-worn texture with the kind of frayed charm only decades can give a piece.
A wonderful find for scouting memorabilia collectors or vintage patch lovers — 70 years old this year.
Vintage, one of a kind, circa 1955.
Measurements: 2.75" diameter
