Le Panama - Black
Description
Maison Ola is a small-batch brand we're proud to carry at House no.23 - currently we are the only boutique in the United States offering their pieces.
La Panama hat handwoven in Ecuador by skilled artisans whose craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation.
Once woven, the hat is carefully shaped and finished in Maison Ola's atelier in France, where it is transformed into its final silhouette with a structured brim and refined details. The design is completed with the signature Ola embroidery on a grosgrain ribbon, creating a timeless and elegant summer piece.
To preserve its shape, avoid pinching the crown and handle the hat by the brim. As the straw originates from the humid Ecuadorian climate, it is recommended to occasionally expose it lightly to steam to maintain its flexibility. Store the hat in a fabric pouch, a box, or flat on a shelf.
Made in France in natural raffia.
Available in two sizes: 57–58 and 59–60.
Maison Olà was born from the meeting of Gregory Mizele and Maria de la Orden — two designers from different worlds, united by a shared vision of effortless elegance and intuitive creation.
Their connection grew naturally, guided by mutual admiration and a genuine pleasure in working together. Very quickly, they felt the desire to create something of their own — a project that would reflect both their sensibilities.
They found their common language in headwear. An accessory both timeless and expressive, delicate yet structured, which became the starting point of their creative journey.
Maison Olà was imagined as a space where Parisian refinement meets a subtle Mediterranean warmth. From the very first headbands to a growing collection of hats, each piece is designed with attention to detail, balancing form, comfort and personality.
